Wonky Plonky Electronk is a new stage for an uncompromising sonic meltdown of experimental, noise, and ambient electronic music. It is founded and hosted by Street Records - an independent, experimental music record label based in London’s Soho who champion avant-garde and nonconformist sounds. The event has become synonymous with this ethos, bringing together a diverse array of talent from the experimental music scene.
Its influence continues to grow, with an upcoming day festival at The Gulbenkian in Canterbury, featuring two stages and an exciting mix of both emerging and established artists. As Wonky continues to gain momentum, it is poised to expand its reach, with plans for festival appearances and residencies across the UK.
Wonky Plonky Electronk is more than just a gig or club night; it's a dynamic movement within the experimental music scene, dedicated to championing the finest in the UK's experimental music landscape and inviting audiences to fully immerse themselves in the captivating world of live experimental performance.
